[Man, what a turn of events this has taken. He grew a little embarrassed himself, rubbing the back of his head in thought. If he wasn't so caught up in the idea of believing that other people needed his help more than he did...well.]

[ Yeah, they talked about that before, right? Neither of them can die, since the other would be much too upset if that happened.. that's what being best friends is all about. She takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. ]

Yeah, I'm fine. I was just super worried about this whole thing, so.. I guess I ended up snapping because of how stressed it made me. Sorry, Giorno, I shouldn't have yelled at you.

[That apology only made his expression grow dimmer and dimmer. He really should learn when people are trying to look out for the best in him...even if it's someone like Asahi- his best friend. If anything...they're looking out for each other.]

... [ Huh? Asking him that all of a sudden, but.. then again, it can't be really bad. And she sort of feels like she owes him either way for yelling at him like that. With most people she has no problem yelling at them, but she feels a little more guilty in this case.. so she nods. It's sort of dangerous out there right now, but if she hurries, and it's still daylight now, so.. ]

Sure. Just give me a little bit, I'll hurry over as fast as I can.

[...she hasn't been in his room yet, has she? Ah, he'd already seen what her room looked like, but his is...well, plant life growing everywhere is something he's taken up in the mean time, collecting seeds whenever he goes out. So, it'd be a bit of a shock for anyone coming in to see this...well, the various plants- sunflowers, lilies, chrysanthemums- the lot. So, he's just...waiting in his room.]

[ It doesn't take long for her to get there at all. Granted, she ran there the entire way, and since it's quite a bit across the city she's pretty exhausted by the end of it, actually.. but she doesn't care, she didn't want to risk anything with a killer on the loose, so she really did rush in the end. When she arrives at the door to his room she leans against it first for a bit, catching her breath, but then she knocks on the door briefly. ]

It's me, I'm coming in!

[ .. Not even waiting to be let in, but that's Asahi. She's already opening the door and walking in.. only to see some sort of mini rainforest, really. Or a flower shop. ]

.. W.. what..

[ ~~Who just comes in without even knocking!?~~ Well, Giorno seemed a bit surprised that Asahi came this quick- ah, wait, it was apparent that she had been running this entire time. A small frown came upon his face- not because of her being her, but because of how fast she entered. But...it's Asahi, after all.

Either way, he stares at her a bit, putting away his journal that he had been writing into at his desk.]

You could have just waited until I answered the door, you realize. [It was then he noticed how mesmerized she seemed...he looked behind him to- oh. It's the plants. He shrugged, closing the door behind her.]

I took it up as a hobby- and something that would remind me from my own powers back at home.

[ Asahi and waiting, as if you really expect that to ever happen, Giorno.. she's way too energetic and impatient for that kind of stuff. But at least she manages to shake her head and shake herself out of it a little when he speaks up there, instead glancing from the plants to him. ]

This many though?! It looks like some sort of flower shop in here! [ Not that she seems offended, more like.. amazed, maybe. ]

Hm? Does it really seem that way to others? [He didn't mind the flora growing in his room, actually- in fact, there's a lot of things he really didn't mind. As he stated before, it was only a reminder of his Stand, or at least what his Stand can do. So, before she can speak anymore, he's already walking to an Azalea plant, grabbing the pot it was in and handing it over to her.]

There. That's...one of the reasons I called you over here. That plant...think of it as me watching over you.

[ ......

There's a long pause. She was already surprised about all this to begin with, but this is just making it worse, all she can do is just stare at the plant in surprise as she holds it in her arms.. ]

W.. wait, you're giving me this plant? I.. uh.. [ What is she supposed to say to that, just thanks?! But-- ] .. I guess my Turtwig might like that too..

[~~He still doesn't understand how Asahi has a freaking Turtwig.~~ With a small smile coming out of his lips, he let out a low chuckle, as he sat back down in his desk chair.]

Ah, Turtwig...that's the Pokemon, right? I'm sure it would find that plant to be something to like. But...hm. I suppose you're not so keen of it yourself, right?

[His tone drops a few clicks, saying that last part of the sentence. Did she not like it...?]

What?! [ She immediately reacts, almost instinctively, as he questions her about the plant like that. It makes her shake her head quickly, almost wildly. ]

No, I like it, I do! [ And she's honest. As if Asahi would lie, after all. ] It's just.. .. well.. do you really think something like this suits a girl like me..?

Hm... [He paused for a moment, contemplating for a moment about what she just said.]

...I believe I have told you what I thought before on the situation, did I not? [He lets out a coy smile.] You know I hate repeating myself, Asahi- for it means you didn't listen to me last time. Remember the broach I gave you, as well?

.. I did listen to you..! [ The answer come out a little instinctively, it shows in the way she raises her tone almost defensively. She's telling the truth, she did listen to him, but it's just.. difficult for her to accept with how deep her beliefs run. Her arms cling onto the plant's pot pretty tightly too at this point, as if that only reinstates her defensiveness. ]

But.. it's just that it's just only your opinion, Giorno! Everyone else might think differently!

You still didn't listen to my words, did you? [Again, another little coy smile.]

I think I remember myself mentioning that what others think should not sway your opinion on certain objects and certain feelings of yours. After all, doing so wouldn't make your the...real you, would it? [He sighs, shaking his head.]

...but you're free to wish whatever you think. If you think that it might hurt your appearance, then you're free to return it.

N.. no! No way I'm giving it back now!

[ She takes a step backwards, still holding onto the pot that tightly. If it's a gift from him then she doesn't just want to give it back unless he'd insist, really - not like she disliked it to begin with, she was just a little irrationally worried. ]

I'll keep it! And.. [ .. well, it's a little awkward being scolded like that by him.. and a little sad too, honestly. ] .. don't scold me like I'm some little kid, I-I.. get it.

[Well that little display right there was enough to bring back his usual deadpan face, as he was tapping the side of his head in contemplation.]

...Like I said, I wasn't trying to force you to take it in the first place, but...it brings me pleasure in seeing that you're taking it from me.

[Although he turns his head away as she utters those last words- dammit, how did she know how to press his buttons like that...] ...I'm sorry, I should have realized...that I shouldn't be scolding you like that.

.. No, not like that either! [ Of course Asahi is quick to react in her usual emotional way, quickly shaking her head and her hair is basically a mess by now because of it. She puts down the plant on a table for a moment just for the sake of being able to point at him as she shouts on. ]

There's nothing that's your fault at all, and I'm fine, so.. .. s-so let's just stop being awkward! It's over!

[ .. the best way of clearing an awkward mood, right.. in her usual idiot way. ]

...I'm not even sure if it was awkward to begin with. You, yourself, were making it awkward.

[Ok that was pretty blunt on his end- but he thinks himself right ok. Don't get so huffy about it, Asahi. But still...he'll at least walk over to her, placing a hand on her head.]

...But if you want to stop it from being awkward, then I shall attempt, myself. After all, you're my friend.
