[Well.

She wanted to repay him for sticking with her that time she wasn't feeling good. So, she's right outside his door now, and she's not too sure if he's even in there. So... instead of giving this to him personally, she puts the box on the ground, knocks on his door, then makes an attempt to run away?!

Kirino is a star member on the track team, she's really quick, so she makes it around the corner and just... well, waits for a bit.

Inside the box is several magical girl comics she bought, along with some shounen super hero stuff. There's a note on the box too.]

[...he's been getting more people coming to his door- but he's...grown accustomed to it by this point. After a bit of a pause, he walked over to the door...

...and there was no one outside. He was a little bit confused at first, looking around to see who could have done it. But...after looking down, he noticed the box. A tilt of his head and a picking up of it, he began to examine it. Hm...nothing too bad, it seemed...but ah, there was a note.

After a moment of reading it, he looked out into the halls to see if Kirino was there- but it seemed she left...typical. But...that still did not change the fact that there a light smile on his face. He hadn't really received a gift in this place since...well, ever. And seeing something like this from someone like her...all he could do was appreciate it.

After returning to his room, he opened the box- well. Ok. Magical Girls. He...should have expected as much. But...he might as well read them- since she gave them to him, after all...and that's what he does right now, either way.

...he still can't see the appeal to girls in this...]

[She hears the door open, and for some reason when it does she feels her face heat up even more. Why... is she so embarrassed? She's given people stuff like this before and she never cared. Maybe she really is wanting to know his opinion about this kind of stuff, about if he thinks any of this is really childish. If he were to judge her she really wouldn't be able to take it, she... actually does want to please him as well. It's just hard for her to show it a lot of the time, she gets far too flustered.

Still, it seems like he's taking it, and slowly she peeks around the corner, and for a brief moment she spots that smile of his before she hides again.

Alright.... so...

...

...Mission accomplished....?

She nods to herself, happy with just this much, but....]

I wanna know what he really thinks about them... [aaauugghh so frustrating! Alright, she can do this. She takes a deep breath, gathering up her courage, and she turns, heading back towards his door. This is so dumb but, she really does want to talk to him.

She knocks on his door again, and her gaze is fixated on the floor, her hands fumbling with one another in front of her.]

[In the midst of his reading (which, by the way, he's actually finding this really interesting so far- not in a way he would have expected it to), he hears his door being knocked on once more. ...is something going on today that he's not aware of? Whatever the case is, he slips in a little bookmark on the page he was on, and walks to the door, opening it.

...well, this was...highly surprising. He didn't expect to see Kirino return to his door, looking at the ground like that. But just seeing her come back made him...smile. A little bit more than he did when she dropped the package.

...ah, right, that still doesn't exactly answer what he's thinking right now.]

...hello there, Kirino, I have to say...thank you for the gift. The read is quite...interesting, I will say, and the art style for the comics with the magical girls is quite captivating.

...although, why are you here? I assumed you just wanted to give me that present.

[Oh... he's actually reading it, and he said it's interesting so far!! She looks up at him when he says that, and she's smiling now too.]

R...right? The style is so good, and just wait until you get into more of the story! I want to hear all about it once you're done.

[She nods to herself, content with that answer she gave, and then just... stares at him when he asks what she's doing here.]

Isn't it obvious? I.... I changed my mind. I was going to just drop it off, but I... wanted to read together.

[She shifts her weight from on leg to another, suddenly feeling flustered again. It was never this bad with her brother, even though she really adored sharing these kinds of things with him too.]

Is that so wrong?

[...huh? What did she just say right now...read it with him? His eyes widen a bit at what she just said- and in fact...he...seemed to appreciate the thought of spending more time with this girl. In fact, she seems...a lot more nicer now that he was spending more time. Is this...her way of opening up to him? ...he'll have to wait and figure that out when the time comes. But for now...]

...it'd be a pleasure to read this with you. After all...I'd...like to hear what you have to say on it as well.

[...he seemed a little flustered in saying that, as well. Why is it that this girl is eliciting such a response like this from him...? ...whatever the case is, he'll move from the door and let her in.]

...shall we, Kirino...?

[It's strange, isn't it? At first she was willing to trust him, in fact she might have hated him for a while, but she's learned that he's a good guy. Way too good, actually, even though he is rather awkward. He wouldn't hurt her purposely or anything, there was that one time he grabbed her, but... looking back on it, yeah, this type of guy she needs to be a little bit more... open with.

The thought scares her, actually, being far more open with someone that isn't Ayase but she feels as though he won't mock her. In fact, even with her brother she's still far too closed off, doesn't speak her mind at all, and with her friends from school she's not able to be herself and share her love for otaku-related things.

Still, he's never judged her so...]

Yeah! Alright so, how far have you gotten?

[She trots inside, obviously making herself at home already and she goes over and jumps on to his bed. She grabs the book, getting comfortable and she opens it.]

Oho~! This part! Wasn't the fight scene before this great? It was really well drawn, a lot of detail!

[...this girl seriously was too different now that he saw her in this sort of light. But...it's still making him feel a bit more content on the inside that she's willing to be this way around someone as closed off to other people as he was. In fact...he was really starting to come to like her more and more as time progressed in this place. ...would he be able to open up to her more, as well?

...he never really thought about it much to begin with. The only other person he was really open with was Asahi, but Asahi is...Asahi. But with this girl, he feels as though he can be...different, in a way, different from his typical "stone face" exterior he always puts up. He'd...like to try and be different around her, to show how he truly felt about things...

...ah, right, the book. He closed to door after she came in, and sat down on the bed right beside her, looking at the page she had just opened up to.]

Ah, that one. [He nodded a bit.] Yes, the fight scene had a lot of detail to it, and I appreciated the time the artist put into it. It made the scene much more enjoyable.

But it makes me wonder how the story will further progress, after all. It seems simple enough for a basic storyline...

[She's really different after all, someone that's far too tsundere for her own good, pretty much all tsun. But she's realized something as well, that this guy really does have more issues opening himself up than she does. Or perhaps, they're both at the same level.

Either way, when he sits down beside her she scoots closer to him, offering him to be the one to hold the book.]

Take it, it's better to be the one to hold it and experience it for yourself, I'm just here as support.

[but she frowns a little.] And it's not basic!

[...ah, right, he should be the one to hold it for himself, after all. After taking the comic from her, he does frown a bit at what she has to say.]

So far it has been. Although, I would like to be proven wrong to see what else the writer would do to surprise me. But...I suppose I'll have to see in the next issues, right?

[Of course, he's only teasing when he says this, but he'll scooch a bit closer to her as well, allowing her to see what they're reading, after all.]

...although, I do like to hear what your input on this so far.

[...Nnn.... this guy!!!

But... fine. She huffs a little at what he says, but then just... leans in a little, looking at the pages. Like this however, they're forced to touch, their arms grazing against one another, their shoulders touching. She feels a little flustered from that too, but she'll get through this!!]

Hmph... just come to appreciate it and there won't be any problems. Either way, this part- [he points to one of the magical girls.] She's fighting her friend, but... she doesn't know it's her friend at all. Her memories were erased- but that kind of information isn't revealed until several issues later. Let's just say, in this series everything isn't as it first appears to be.

[WOW, THANKS KIRINO, THERE'S SUCH A THING AS ASKING SOMEONE IF THEY WANT TO KNOW SOMETHING BEFORE IT HAPPENS. But he'll just...shrug it off either way. He wants to just read this peacefully, either way- plus...being close to her like this was definitely making him a little flustered as well, but nothing too bad that he can't handle.

Is that so? ...then that is certainly something that I definitely would not have expected from something like this. ...I suppose it adds a layer of sadness to the story as well, which helps progress the character development. ...hm~. Eventually, after being done with the first issue, he moved to the second one, eventually coming to understand the plot more.]

...it seems as though I was wrong- this storyline isn't quite as simple as I thought it would be...

[Oho!! What a good boy, he's come to understand the greatness of it. She beams at him, and then just goes off in her own little world about all of this.]

Right? Right?! Uwaahh~ they're so adorable and everything too! But then, then you learn about their backstories and see how well planned out their personalities are and everything becomes that much better!
